PETER'S NEWS FROM DARTMOOR

This month these twin Shetlands were born whilst I was trying to reach the swarm of bees in the middle picture, I wasn't successful, unfortunately.

This year the river Dart is quite low, not too much rain this year which of course means less water in the river but it also makes for happy bees who have been busy carrying pollen back to the hives for the queen & the workers. I expect a good stock of honey this year!

But how wonderful to observe the gentle side of nature knowing that so much is the complete opposite, selfishness, heartless cruelty, each one for himself, but with bees & with ants it's never the case, they work in groups, in teams, for the common cause! A real lesson from Nature.

As per usual Peter is in Exeter organic market waiting for you, with his honey products & his wools. Don't miss out be there on Thursday mornings!
